Quite a surprise to see reptilians shown as good guys in this episode since I remember in the earlier episodes there was a reptile minister who was really against appointing Sari as a queen.

Too bad the Feline Princess had to be the too ambitious kind, I thought maybe her and the Amit would be allies for Sariphi but she ended up having an ulterior motive.

I'm glad Amit protected her, she and Sariphi are definitely going to get along and she seems like she'll be amusing to watch too.

Jormungand seemed like a really cool guy and I like how polite he was with Sariphi, I hope we get to see him more and I'm sure we will as Amit is in the castle. I'm sure they'll push them as a side romance unless they change it to Anubis instead with how they've interacted as a twist lol.

I liked how pissed Leonhart was upon the Feline Princess making Sariphi run away because she was too busy trying to get into his pants. Well it ended up helping Sariphi eventually learn the feelings she has for Leonhart and she won't be able to approach him anymore, so all is well that ends well.

The last scene where she did under Leonhart's tail was cute, if only he knew his words had a struck a chord within her.

They really took the "thieving cat" thing to a literal with that cat princess. She really should've known her place the first time.

She was one of the many characters who seriously got me into this series, back when I was reading the manga, cause girl is the definition of BFF, while still displaying realistic courtly behaviour, staying aware that, even as Sariphie's closest female friend, she's socially inferior to the (human) girl whom the king insists on making his wife and queen and being all round respectful. Proper lady-in-waiting portrayal through her which I'd like to see more often in fantasy series with a medieval ambience, Western or not.

I think it helps that this is from a shoujo series where the point of the animal/beast girls ISN'T to be all moe-moe and stuff for desperate otaku boys. ^_^;

looking at those portraits of the previous kings, I'm taken aback when I used to read the manga. I just realized that time, the magic beastfolk are so diverse that physical features are also "hybridized" here. I do like cats but I have to make exceptions in that desperate candidate's case.

Amit is only one of those beastfolk to never even look at Sali like the way the majority of others look at her. Which also makes their friendship an interesting development
